T-Shirt Exhibition and Sale Rules and Guidelines
• OBJECTIVE
To expose and promote the talent of OCAD to the public through the exhibition and sale of interesting and creative t-shirts designed by OCAD students, alumni and faculty members. Part of the proceeds will go to Canadian Journalists for Free Expression.
• ELIGIBILITY
Must be an OCAD student, OCAD alumni or OCAD faculty.
• DESIGN GUIDELINES
o The designer may modify the t-shirt provided in any way he/she desires (e.g. cut, sew, dye, print, etc.)
o The designer may use any material as long as it is not physically harmful
(e.g. no toxic material, no sharp objects, etc.).
o Be creative!!!
• T-SHIRT SUBMISSION METHOD
WHEN:
Drop off the completed T-Shirt
on Wed. May 9, 2007 (between 1 pm and 4 pm)
WHERE:
100 McCaul St. Main Lobby
• DETAILS
The shirt will be sold for the price of your choice. You will take 90% of the profits from the sale of the t-shirt and 10% will be donated to the Canadian Journalists for Free Expression.
* The entry fee for selected applicants is $15.
The fee includes:
• a basic t-shirt (men’s or women’s)
• use of exhibition/sale venue
• promotion for the sale event (posters, media relations)
• sale staff
• free admission to the opening party
(There is no refund for failure to submit the t-shirt by the deadline)
The exhibition and sale will take place at the Rivoli (334 Queen St. W.) on Sunday May 13, 2007
• OTHER DETAILS
o The profit can be either picked up in person at the event or on a specified date after the event
(location and date to be announced via email).
o Unsold t-shirts will be returned to the designers.
